Gympie Regional Library
The Gympie Regional Libraries consists of 6 branches. Gympie is the main library with other branches in Imbil, Goomeri, Kilkivan, Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay.
You can borrow books, DVDs, magazines, E-books, and audio-books. Each branch has free Wi-Fi, and computers to use. There are story-time sessions, technology classes, book clubs, and writers’ groups.
Gympie Library has a Makerspace; a place where you can create, explore and learn.

Gympie Medical Transport
We offer transport service to non-urgent medical appointments for residents of the Gympie Regional Council area.
Our volunteer drivers will pick you up from home, take you to your appointment and wait to take you safely home. A maximum wait time of 6 hours applies (please notify driver if your appointment time extends).
Office Hours: 8.30am—12:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Drivers and Cars Accredited by Queensland Transport
Traveling to: Brisbane area – Sunshine Coast (all areas) – Noosa – Cooroy – Nambour – Buderim – Caloundra – Hervey Bay

Gympie Riding for Disabled
Gympie Riding for Disabled was first established in 1989, when a group of local Gympie people gathered and, with the inspiration of Ann Daly and the enthusiastic support of Percy Bishop, they decided to start a community organisation, where those who experience disability could participate in the joys and the freedom of horse riding.
We run programs on 2 mornings each week during school terms:
Wednesday 7.30-11.30am Riding
Thursday 8.30-11.30am Carriage Driving

Community Action Inc
Community Action is a not-for-profit (PBI) community organisation based in Gympie (Qld) with registered charity and deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. We are a registered community housing provider with a mission to provide housing and support services in response to the needs of our community.
Our services include community housing, support services and accommodation for young people, support services and accommodation for women and children escaping domestic and family violence, and financial counselling.

We are a friendly group of women that would love to meet some new faces and learn some new skills whilst passing on the skills we have already learnt.
Women from all walks of life are members of the QCWA and they join for a variety of reasons.

Hope Reins
Hope Reins was established in January 2010 by Ruth and Kylie. Their dream was to rescue horses from all kinds of awful situations and to invite people who have also had struggles in their lives (and who hasn’t?) to come and help us love the horses back to health. Gympie Stroke Support Group
The Gympie Stroke Support Group is a very friendly, informal group for people who have had a stroke and their families.
At monthly meetings, we provide friendship, social support, and sharing of information about living with a stroke.
We meet at Gympie Communtiy Place, 18 Excelsior Road, Gympie. 10-12 on the second Thursday of each month.

We are a support group for people receiving chemotherapy mainly in the Gympie region.

Gympie Volunteer First Aid Service
In the Cooloola Coast regional area, the Gympie Volunteer First Aid Services medics, are the preferred first aid provider for the Gympie Regional Council, local touch football associations, BMX clubs, lawn mower racing club and numerous other not-for-profit community organisations.
We are a non-profit organisation and all funds raised (by donation) are re-invested in the maintenance & upgrading of equipment and the training of our volunteer medics.

Gympie Wesleyan Methodist Church
As a church we reach out to the community by providing a number of different activities for a range of ages including Mainly Music for families with pre-school aged children, a Kid’s Club for Primary aged children, and a youth group for high schoolers.
Lighthouse (Youth) meets each Friday of the school term and is all about our teenagers from Years 7-12.
Mainly Music – Lots of fun every Friday for children from birth to 4 years old and their carers. Friday during school terms from 10.00am.
